Weber Band has been fortunate to have loyal fans since the beginning, which is greatly appreciated. But in order for a band to survive, the music needs to ciruclate to as many ears as possible.
There is plenty that you can do to help out. Some bands call it a “street team.” Since every band uses that phrase, you will be spared in this case. Besides, a “street team” usually constitutes that one girl in the back selling sh*t – no street, and no team to be found. Instead, we are just asking you to “do something”.
So, what can you to do? Doesn’t matter. Anything that can help out the band. Here are some examples of things that you can do, or have already been done, to help out Weber Band. Doing any of these things can get you some free sh*t, like CD’s, tickets to shows, backstage passes (which includes free beer in most cases), a few drinks, a high five, a low five, etc.
• Be that girl (or dude) that sells CD’s in the back at shows. Unfortunately, the sh*t don’t sell itself.
• Encourage your friends to buy the CD, come to a show, or visit the website. And if they tell you no, think about resorting to violence.
• Ask to have the band booked at your college / your bar / your party.
• Organize a drunken bus trip to a show. Do society a favor by not drinking and driving and seeing Weber Band live simultaneously.
• Take some pictures at shows.
• Hang up posters / hand out flyers for upcoming shows in your area. They'll even give you the sh*t to hang up.
• Play the role of amateur graphic designer and design a poster or logo for the band.
• Just SPREAD THE WORD! Tell your friends. Try to bring a new friend to every show (unless you have no friends).
